"Well, the girls’ CARE program is amazing. So much good was put back into my life, and the food was not half as bad I thought it would be. The program staff are some of the best people I’ve ever known. All of them have played a part in 'turning me into a butterfly'. I’ve learned that I have a great family at home and more than a million opportunities. I found the self-respect and control that I was missing. I feel so lucky to have gone here to get my life back on track; rather than throwing it away in a detention center. This program has changed the 'things' I never thought would change. I can trust, rely and be more comfortable around people. I couldn’t have asked for a better second chance! Thank you all so much. I’ll come back and visit."
