FAMILY SUPPORT CENTER
Senior Coordinator
MS/MA in Social Services related field and two years experience in case management
working with at-risk youth and their families. Knowledge of program administration/supervisory
experience desired. [BA/BS candidates with considerable experience (5+ yrs)
may be considered.] Knowledge of family dynamics and ability to assess issues
and respond appropriately with limited guidance. Strong organizational skills
and ability to multi-task. Substantial interpersonal, oral and written communication
skills. Able to assist in developing program policies and procedures; knowledge
of Spanish in oral and written communication is desired. Participates and
is responsible for all aspects of Case Coordination including: intake, assessments,
and development of Family Success Plan, referrals, and discharges. Ability
to assume leadership role in the absence of the Program Manager.

RESIDENTIAL PROGRAMS: Girls CARE, Boys CARE, FWSN Center
Youth Advocates
Direct care positions available in gender-specific programs. FT/PT positions
available, all shifts, including weekend hours. BA/BS in Human Services related
field and experience desired. Must be able to commit to schedule for extensive
required training. This is a bargaining unit position; starting rate is $12.94
per hour. Only qualified resumes/applicants will be considered. Include desired

Relief Youth Advocates
See requirements above. Experienced non-degreed applicants will be considered.
Relief position is on-call to fill shifts in the event of call-outs, vacations
in our three residential programs. Must be available to complete 80 hours
of orientation/training within first 30 days.

tine test, DCF Protective Services History search, and a State of CT Department
of Public Safety Criminal convictions background search.
