Staff Appreciation Day

Staff Appreciation Day was created as an opportunity for St. Francis Home for Children’s administration to recognize and appreciate all of the agency’s hardworking Directors, Coordinators, Case Aides, Youth Advocates, Administrative Assistants, Maintenance, Dietary and Janitorial staff. Although the administration appreciates staff and all that they do throughout the year, Staff Appreciation Day is an
opportunity to formally recognize those who “go above and beyond” as well as take an afternoon to stop and say, “thank you”. This “afternoon of appreciation” includes a luncheon, raffles, and a brief recognition ceremony; honoring a staff from each program and department who exceeded in their position as demonstrated by their level of commitment and dedication to the children and families St. Francis Home serves. Congratulations to the following St. Francis Home for Children staff who were recognized during the 4th annual Staff Appreciation Day:

Mr. John Franklin, Maintenance Supervisor

Ms. Esther Duncan, Girls’ CARE

Mr. Haylen Frasier, Boys’ CARE

Mr. Courtney Wright, Family Support Center

Recognizing Carole Ford

St. Francis Home is proud to recognize Ms. Carole Ford. Ms. Ford has worked at St. Francis Home as an educator and Title One Liaison for nearly 40 years combined. Over the years Ms. Ford has witnessed many vulnerable, abused, and mentally ill children come through the doors of St. Francis Home’s school.
She has responded to all of these children with the care, support and encouragement that they all need in order to improve socially, emotionally and academically. Committed to the agency’s mission and vision, Ms. Ford has not only been an outstanding educator, but also a tireless advocate for the children and families in need as well as the agency. A long-time, truly appreciated member of the St. Francis Home
“family”, we thank you Ms. Ford for the years of service you have given to St. Francis Home for Children.
